Terms of Use (EULA) — Talksim

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Talksim ("the App"), developed by Studio Uchu. By downloading or using the App you agree to these Terms. The App also offers the optional Studio Uchu AI auto-renewable subscription described below.

1. The Service

Talksim is a communication-practice app. You choose a situation, role-play a conversation with an AI partner, and the AI scores and gives feedback. A free on-device mode (Apple's on-device AI) runs entirely on your device and requires no account.

2. Studio Uchu AI membership & usage limits

• Cloud AI features are provided through the Studio Uchu AI membership (Lite or Studio).
• Lite: up to 70 messages/day. Studio: up to 260 messages/day. Each AI reply and each scoring counts as one message.
• Daily limits reset at 00:00 UTC. Availability may vary and is an upper limit only — no minimum is guaranteed, and the service is not "unlimited."
• One membership is shared across supported Studio Uchu apps tied to the same Apple account.

3. Auto-renewable subscription terms

• Title & length: Studio Uchu AI Lite (1 month) and Studio Uchu AI Studio (1 month) are auto-renewable subscriptions.
• Price: shown in the App at the point of purchase, in your local currency, per Apple's pricing.
• Billing: payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
• Auto-renewal: the subscription automatically renews for the same period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• Manage / cancel: you can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your device's Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Any unused portion of a free trial (if offered) is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

4. AI processing & your data

The free on-device mode sends nothing off your device. When you use Studio Uchu AI, the text you send is processed by US-based external AI providers via our server with zero data retention; we do not store your conversation content. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

5. Acceptable use

Do not submit confidential, illegal, or harmful content; do not attempt to reverse-engineer the App, bypass usage limits, or gain unauthorized access. AI output may be inaccurate — do not rely on it for important decisions.

6. Disclaimer & liability

The App and the Service are provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant the accuracy, reliability, or availability of AI responses or scoring. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Studio Uchu is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the App.

7. Account deletion

You can delete your membership account from within the App (Settings → Account → Delete account). Deleting your account does not cancel your Apple subscription — cancel that separately in your Apple Account settings.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
