Terms of Use (EULA) — Talksim

These Terms govern Talksim, a communication-practice app from Studio Uchu. The free on-device practice mode does not require an account or subscription. Optional cloud features are provided through Studio Uchu AI.

1. Studio Uchu AI and AI Credits

• Lite provides 800 AI Credits per subscription period.
• Studio provides 4,500 AI Credits per subscription period.
• Credits are consumed according to actual AI processing cost, so each response or evaluation may use a different amount.
• Membership may be shared across supported Studio Uchu apps when you sign in with the same Apple account.
• Availability is not guaranteed, and the service is not offered as “unlimited.”

2. Weekly League

Anyone may view the Weekly League. An active paid Studio Uchu AI Lite or Studio subscription and sufficient AI Credits are required to post a ranked evaluation. Complimentary cloud AI access alone does not include ranked participation.

• Japanese and English leagues are separate, with one shared challenge per UTC day.
• You may submit up to three successful ranked evaluations per UTC day. Only the day's highest score counts.
• League Points are the sum of your best five daily scores from Monday 00:00 UTC through Sunday. Missing days count as zero in the displayed average.
• Ties are resolved by highest daily score, then the earlier time that score was achieved.
• Only a non-editable anonymous code is shown publicly.

We may invalidate submissions involving score manipulation, unauthorized access, or attempts to bypass Credits or challenge limits.

3. Auto-renewable subscriptions

• Studio Uchu AI Lite and Studio Uchu AI Studio are auto-renewable subscriptions. The product page in the App shows the current period and local price.
• Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
• The subscription renews for the same period unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Renewal is charged within 24 hours before the period ends.
• Manage or cancel it in your Apple Account subscription settings. Deleting your Talksim account does not cancel the Apple subscription.

4. AI processing and acceptable use

Free on-device practice keeps conversations on your device. Optional cloud AI sends content only after your consent through Cloudflare to Google's official Vertex AI API. Studio Uchu does not store conversation content. Google's retention and abuse-monitoring conditions apply separately; zero data retention by Google is not guaranteed. See the Privacy Policy.

Do not submit confidential, illegal, or harmful content. Reverse engineering, unauthorized access, and attempts to bypass Credits or challenge limits are prohibited. AI responses and scores may be inaccurate and must not be relied on for important decisions.

5. Disclaimer, changes, and contact

The service is provided “as is.” We do not warrant the accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose of AI responses or scoring. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Studio Uchu is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. If these Terms change, the updated date will appear here. Contact: studio.uchu1@gmail.com
