Privacy Policy — Talksim

Talksim itself does not collect, store, or transmit any of your data. It is a communication-practice app by Studio Uchu where you role-play conversations and get feedback. Everything runs on your device unless you separately choose to use the optional Studio Uchu AI membership.

The app itself — no data leaves your device

• Talksim's free mode uses Apple's on-device AI. Your conversations are processed entirely on your iPhone/Mac and are never sent to any server.
• Your practice history and scores are stored locally on your device.
• The app contains no advertising or third-party tracking SDKs, and we collect no analytics, telemetry, or personal information.
• Using the free on-device mode requires no account.

Optional: Studio Uchu AI (the cloud membership)

Talksim offers an optional membership, Studio Uchu AI, that uses a smarter cloud AI. This is a separate, shared service (it also works across other Studio Uchu apps). Data leaves your device only if you actively choose to use it.

How your data is handled when you use Studio Uchu AI — including that inference is performed only by US-based providers (AtlasCloud, GMICloud, Parasail), never China, with Zero Data Retention, and that we store no conversation content — is described in full here:

Account deletion

If you use Studio Uchu AI, you can delete your membership account and its usage metadata at any time from within the App (Settings → Account → Delete account). To stop billing, cancel the subscription from your Apple account settings.

Children's privacy

The App does not knowingly collect any data from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
