Privacy Policy — Sprout Focus Timer

Summary

Sprout Focus Timer is local-first. Studio Uchu does not collect personal information, usage data, timer history, task text, statistics, or companion data from this app. The app has no account system, no advertising, no analytics, and no tracking SDKs. Your focus sessions, tasks, projects, settings, and stats stay on your Mac. If iCloud sync is available and enabled by Apple system services, data may sync through your own private iCloud database, which Studio Uchu cannot access.

Information We Collect

None. Studio Uchu does not collect personal data or usage data through Sprout Focus Timer. There is no account, sign-in, server upload, advertising, analytics, or tracking.

Data Stored on Your Mac

To provide the app's features, Sprout Focus Timer may store the following locally in the app database:

Focus sessions, including start time, duration, pauses, outcome, and project/task references
Tasks, projects, tags, priorities, estimates, and completion status
Stats rollups, streaks, companion growth, achievements, coins, and cosmetic choices
Timer, language, theme, notification, sound, and reminder settings

This information is not sent to Studio Uchu. You can remove local data by deleting the app and its app data from your Mac.

iCloud Sync

The app may use Apple's CloudKit through system frameworks if iCloud is available. When this occurs, your app data is stored in your private iCloud database so it can sync across your own devices. Studio Uchu cannot access your private iCloud database. Apple's privacy policy applies to iCloud.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, the app schedules local notifications on your Mac for timer completion or reminders. These notifications are generated on-device and are not sent through a Studio Uchu server.

Purchases

Sprout Focus Timer may offer an optional Pro unlock through Apple's App Store. Purchases are processed by Apple. Studio Uchu does not receive your payment card information, Apple ID password, or billing details. The app only checks purchase entitlement through Apple's StoreKit APIs.

CSV Export and Sharing

If you export stats or share data, the file is created locally and shared only when you choose to use the standard macOS sharing or save flow. Studio Uchu is not involved in that transfer.

Analytics, Advertising, and Tracking

The app contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.

Children's Privacy

The app does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes to This Policy

If this Privacy Policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same URL with a revised effective date.
