Privacy Policy — Receipt Split Camera

Information Stored on Your Device

To provide receipt splitting features, the app may store the following locally in the app sandbox:

• Receipt images selected or captured by you while using the app
• OCR text, parsed item names, prices, tax, tip, and discount values
• Participant names or initials you enter for a split
• Item assignments and calculated split totals
• Monthly free-scan usage count and purchase entitlement state

This information is not transmitted to Studio Uchu. You can delete local app data by removing receipts inside the app, if available, or deleting the app from your device.

Camera, Photos, and OCR

The app asks for camera access so you can capture receipts, and may use photo access when you choose to import a receipt image. Text recognition uses Apple's on-device Vision technologies. Studio Uchu does not receive raw receipt images or OCR text.

Sharing

When you tap a share or copy action, the app creates a plain text summary of the split. If you choose another app, such as WhatsApp or Messages, that app receives the text you decide to share. Sharing is user-initiated and is not a Studio Uchu collection of data.

Purchases

The optional Pro unlock is processed by Apple's App Store through StoreKit. Studio Uchu does not receive your payment card information or Apple ID password. The app may check purchase entitlement locally through Apple's App Store APIs.

No Advertising or Tracking

Receipt Split Camera does not include advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, social login, third-party tracking, or a Studio Uchu backend in v1.

Children's Privacy

Receipt Split Camera is a utility app for splitting receipts and is not directed to children under 13. Studio Uchu does not knowingly collect personal information from children through this app.

Changes to This Policy

If this Privacy Policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same URL with a revised effective date.
