PopTeX shows your TeX as math on your Mac. It has no account, no built-in AI, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking, and it makes no network requests. Studio Uchu does not collect, receive, sell or share what you type, your preferences or your usage.
None. PopTeX does not send what you type, your preferences, diagnostics or usage data to Studio Uchu or to any third party. It does not require an account or sign-in.
What you type is drawn on your Mac. PopTeX reads the clipboard only when you paste into its window, and writes to it only when you press ⌘↩ or copy with ⌘C. It does not request Accessibility, Input Monitoring or Screen Recording permission and cannot read other apps or your screen. Where you paste your text is up to you; whatever you paste into another app or service is handled under that app's or service's own privacy policy.
PopTeX stores the following only on your Mac: your current draft, the text size, your shortcut, and the position and size of its window. Deleting the app removes this data.
PopTeX makes no network requests. Everything it needs to draw math is inside the app.
PopTeX is distributed through the Mac App Store. Apple handles downloads and any payment; Studio Uchu does not receive your name, payment details or Apple Account information. There are no in-app purchases.
PopTeX contains no analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs and does not use an advertising identifier.
PopTeX does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
If this Privacy Policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised effective date.
PopTeX is provided under Apple's Standard End User License Agreement. It includes KaTeX, © Khan Academy and other contributors, under the MIT License; the license is shown in the app under About PopTeX.
