Privacy Policy — Fridge Countdown

Information We Collect

Studio Uchu does not collect personal data or usage data through Fridge Countdown. The app has no account system, no advertising SDK, no third-party analytics SDK, and no tracking.

When you use the app, you may create local data on your device, including food names, categories, expiry dates, notes, item status, local notification preferences, and optional food photos. This information is used only to provide app features on your device.

Photos, Camera, and Text Recognition

If you choose to add food by taking a photo or selecting an image from your photo library, Fridge Countdown uses that image to help you create a food item and estimate or confirm an expiry date.

Photos are processed on your device. Text recognition is performed locally using Apple platform technology. Photos and recognized text are not sent to a Studio Uchu server.

Notifications

If you enable reminders, Fridge Countdown schedules local notifications on your device before food expires. Notification data is handled by iOS locally. Studio Uchu does not receive notification contents or reminder schedules.

Purchases

Fridge Countdown offers an optional Pro unlock through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Purchases are processed by Apple. Studio Uchu does not receive or store your payment card, billing address, or Apple ID password.

Sharing with Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or share your fridge data. The app does not include third-party advertising or analytics. Apple may process App Store downloads, purchases, crash reports, and related platform information under Apple's own privacy policy.

Storage and Security

Your app data is stored locally on your device. Anyone who can access your device, device backups, or Apple account backups may be able to access local app data depending on your device settings. Please protect your device with a passcode and keep your system software up to date.

Your Choices

• You can add, edit, mark eaten, discard, or delete food items in the app.
• You can decline camera, photo library, or notification permissions.
• You can change permissions later in iOS Settings.
• You can remove the app from your device to delete local app data, subject to iOS backup behavior.

Children's Privacy

Fridge Countdown is not directed at children under 13 or the minimum age in your country. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

International Users

Because Studio Uchu does not receive your fridge data, we do not transfer that data across borders. Apple platform services, such as App Store purchases and crash reporting, are governed by Apple's own policies.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted at this same URL with a revised effective date.
